Make It Monday #279

Today I was home from work after having my "wizzies" as my dentist calls them out.  That would be wisdom teeth to everyone else in the world.  Today was the first day I actually felt like sitting upright, so I thought I'd play along with PTI's Make it Monday challenge.  The challenge was to use a curved sentiment or create a curved sentiment on your block, which is what I did.  I used PTI's Fresh Boquet set to layer some flowers--let me just say I am LOVING all these new coordinating dies--and my sentiment is from Stampin' Up.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hang in There

Lately my uncle and aunt have been on my mind and in my prayers every day.  My uncle is undergoing cancer treatment, and it has been a hard year for them.  They live many states away from me, but I wanted them to know I was thinking of them, and the sentiments from Papertrey Ink's Fresh Bouquet set are perfect: "Hang in there.  I'm cheering you on."  This set has so many possibilities because of all the layers, and I used my favorite Stampin' Up color Crisp Cantaloupe as the base for the flowers, combining Watermelon Wonder and Real Red for some depth.  Hopefully my uncle and aunt will know we are thinking of them!

PTI's Feather Finery

Today I have a card for you from Papertrey Ink's Feather Finery set.  I love this set because it can be used for so many things, plus I bought the coordinating dies.  Coordinating dies are changing the world!  They make dimension so.much.easier.  I stamped the feathers, die cut them, then used my gold marker to make the stripes and added gold sequins.  A girly card for one of the amazing girls in my life!
