I'm back!!!

Yay just guess what!!?!?!?  This is my first day in my new house with internet!  I can't wait to be inspired once again by all of your creations!  This is a card I made months ago, actually.  I made it for a little sweetie pie in my class last year who loved to shower me with gifts for every occasion, and she gave me lots of scrapbooking goodies!

Having access to more limited materials for the last 7 months helped me a lot I think.  As I unpacked our hobby room last weekend, I was able to prioritize the things that I really use often, and weed out some things that I haven't used in a long time and didn't miss.  I figured that if I forgot I even had it for the last few months, I didn't really need it.  Right?

Except for maybe I did keep a few things that I thought I might find a use for someday...like that roll of tulle...suggestions?

Relax!

Oh what a great weekend! I had just a couple precious hours of crafting time, and I spent it learning to make three or four different types of paper and ribbon flowers! Flowers are one of my very favorite things to put on a card, so this box-top paper flower is a perfect fit for me! I also tried spirals, triangles, scallop circles, and ribbon thanks to Kristii!!!

I thought this particular card would be perfect for the teacher I student taught with who is helping to pass on her 32 plus years of experience to many student teachers, including me! She is talking about retiring soon, and she certainly deserves to relax after so many years being such a wonderful influence on everyone at school!

Thank you to my awesome monthly crafting club which met last Friday night. I was too worn out that night to have any creative juices, but their amazing creativity rubbed off on me for the little bit of time I had this weekend! It was also a GREAT way to spend a Friday night with friends. I think I did my ugly laugh SEVERAL times since I was laughing so hard. Thank you awesome ladies! I can't wait until next time, and you are inspiring me to look into a chipboard album!

More paper flowers to come!
