Tote Bag!

It would have been a lot easier to buy one of those 99 cent reusable grocery bags at the store, but it would not have been nearly as fun or as cute! This was my first attempt at sewing something that mattered, and I love how it turned out so much that I am going to make one or two more! I got the pattern at Quilting in the Country.

I did fuse two fabrics together so the bag would be extra sturdy, but for the next bag, I am going to try a single layer and see how it turns out. This bag has two cute little pockets and folds up into itself! I love it!


It is so sturdy that it stands up by itself!


All folded up with a cute button. I used a hair elastic for the fastener!
